原题

Emma Lee I can't believe I'm already halfway through my exchange semester in Japan. Time really flies when you have a busy class schedule! Last weekend, after wrapping up midterms, I finally headed out of Osaka. My destination? Kyoto. Day 1: Temples and Shrines. I started my day at the Fushimi Inari Shrine, famous for its thousands of torii gates. It was a steep climb, but the view was absolutely worth it. Later, I visited the Kinkaku-ji, the Golden Pavilion, which was stunning, with its gold-leaf-covered exterior reflecting on the tranquil pond. Day 2: Exploring Gion Kobu, one of Kyoto's historic districts, was fascinating. I walked through the narrow streets lined with traditional wooden teahouses. The atmosphere was magical, and it seemed as if I was stepping back in time. I'll share more about Kyoto. Stay tuned for updates!
